सच तो यह है कि महावीर जैन जी ने कोई गुरु नहीं बनाया। उन्होंने किसी से दीक्षा नहीं ली तथा मनमानी पूजा करते थे। यह पूजा श्रीमद् भागवत गीता अध्याय 16 श्लोक 23-24 में मन की गई है इसी कारण से महावीर जैन जी को मोक्ष की प्राप्ति नहीं हुई
