At #IGN on #SCReform , Amb ISHIKANE delivered a statement on behalf of #G4 , noting:
▶need to expand both permanent & non-permanent categories
▶G4's full support for the Common African Position
▶must start text-based negotiations w/attribution of position of each Member & Group

At today's meeting on #SCReform , UN GA President Tijjani Muhammad-Bande stressed the need to ensure that the #UNSC is able to effectively serve future generations and asked member states to make all efforts to reach common ground.
