The last week has been a whirlwind! I’ve never dedicated so many hours to my writing or edited so fast. So grateful Miranda Darrow chose my book. Her feedback and encouragement have been such a boost. The next 6 weeks will be a blur, but I’m excited for the challenge. #RevPit

One thing I tried to keep preaching during #RevPit was the importance of using the event to make writer friends. But I know that's easier said than done, so here are some tips to (hopefully) help!

Three years since I was picked as a winner of #RevPit , and now my book is getting published! Funny how the timing worked out!

I got manuscript edits back from my #RevPit editor ✨Madelyn Knecht #RevPit Editor✨ and WOW. The way she so clearly pinpointed how to make the story better and then wove those edits through the entire manuscript just has me in awe! I'm so excited to work on these edits! 🥹

The cool thing about aging up the MC in my #RevPit book (aka #TreeWIP ) is that even though I’m literally re-writing the entire book (🫠), it’s kinda like getting another couple of years of knowing a bff or beloved sibling (or maybe even child?) and noticing how they’ve grown 😍

I know that in some way I will have to keep trying somehow to work. I was so excited to be chosen as second place for RevPit last year, like that meant something, only to receive exclusively form rejections after I revised my material. Things got worse, not better.
