Students from Carver HS threw a surprise birthday party for Temple Police Officer Wimberly after he spearheaded the greenhouse project.

“I’m so appreciative that they allowed me into Carver to mentor them. It means a lot to me that they care,” Wimberly said.

“This event gives the Temple community an easy way to rid of potentially dangerous, expired, unwanted prescriptions and over-the-counter drugs,” said Temple Police Officer Leroy Wimberly, who added that dozens of people came by to drop off their prescriptions.
