RT) 농담에 진담하자면, 신생대에서 팔레오-에오세 구간에서 엄청난 탄소방출로 인한 기온상승이 있었는데 (PETM), 6천년이란 짧은 세월 동안 2천 기가톤 탄소 배출되어 평균기온 5-8도가 오르고 남북극 빙하 다 녹고 지구 개판됨. 근데 지금 인류가 지구에 배출하고 있는 속도가 그보다 더 빠름.

Junk Science Alert. Again - you present narrative without supporting data. That article you reference (with embedded video) contains fancy rhetoric but fails to reveal actual CO2 data - as J. Vinos does (see graph). Look at the 'dashed' PETM line - it is not CO2 driven.

Just published in Science Magazine ! Our new study shows an oxygen increase in the tropical subsurface ocean during the PETM, reconstructed by foraminifera-bound nitrogen isotopes (FB-d15N) and a foraminiferal body size model (FS-pO2).
