First memorial statue of Queen Elizabeth II unveiled, on what would have been the late Queens 98th birthday.

The bronze statue, on display in the town of Oakham in Rutland, UK features three of the Queen’s beloved Corgi dogs at her feet.

Today at 14:00 GMT a new statue in honour of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth Il was unveiled at Oakham Rutland to mark her 98th birthday.
The tribute was made by the sculptor Hywel Brân Pratley, and depicts a young Queen Elizabeth in royal attire, with faithful corgi companions.

Englands smallest county of Rutland unveiled the first memorial statue to the late HMQ on what would have been her 98th birthday Sunday, with a delegation of dogs from “The Welsh Corgi League” in attendance at Oakham.😃

Went to the unveiling of first EQII UK statue today in Oakham

Sadly didn’t get many good photos as it was just so busy but I’ll go back in a few days and take a snap of her in all her glory
