I did a little review of the demo on my NextFest thread. It was very fun and the gameplay was truly inventive and distinct. I highly highly suggest it. The full game just released April 9th so please give it some love!

I've seen lots of tweets like this but Children of the Sun was one of the big games on Steam NextFest and iirc was featured on one of the major game events (I was thinking summer games fest but more likely a Microsoft direct or whatever).

Kris! 2024 It was announced with a reveal and demo during NextFest, literally the best place for new indies to be seen. Then IGN, Eurogamer, Kotaku, other big sites, and indie game influencers all covered it as one of the NextFest highlights.
