Nailsworth born Lance Bombardier Mark 'Bing' Chandler, aged 33 from Stroud, Gloucestershire, and of 3rd Regiment Royal Horse Artillery, was shot and killed by insurgents in the Nad 'Ali District, Helmand Province, Afghanistan
