Mangrove die-offs are being observed in Sh. Farukolhu as well. Authorities need to conduct proper assessments and policies to address this ASAP! Farukolhu was listed as a PA in 2018, however no management plans so far!!

Sh. Feydhoo mangrove is struggling to thrive. According to her observations this started happening 3-4 months back. Both matured n young ones are also dying. Photo 1 shows the current situation while 2 shows how it looked like a month or so back.

We had a quick visit to Kf mangrove today to check on Kandoo plants. Almost all of the root collar/base of the tree is decaying. π© The leaves were mostly in faded green and yellow too.
