Pee Dee made a Songkran offering to the spirits of our moo Baan this morning. The offerings included the head of a pig. The altars are just behind my house so I’m hoping the spirits are quickly satisfied, and it doesn’t get left out there for too long. 555

Science girl Made with palm sugar (you can see him cutting it into cubes about 1/2 through). Palm sugar is sold in blocks and eaten in pieces like candy. It’s a delicious, melt-in-your-mouth experience. And bua loi is my favorite dessert because of the palm sugar.
