This disconnect is especially noticeable in our Local Gov Pension committee.
They know they invest in fossil fuel companies who cause climate change, but they fail to end these investments.

Personally, speaking as someone with a science background, I don't think someone who doesn't understand the unprecedented scientific consensus that exists around climate change should be making important financial decisions which impact on the world and pensions.

Cllr King recently made it very clear at a pension committee meeting (where he has a vote) that he's a climate sceptic. Until recently he led the Harb Tories. Great that not all his colleagues agree with him. #LeicsDivest
