Hieroglyphic Ladybird (Coccinella hieroglyphica) from Ballycrinnigan Bog, Carlow earlier this week. Two reddish individuals, not sure if common, but I've had similar coloured individuals once before in the Blackstairs Mountains. #LadybirdAtlas2025

An incredible find by Leon van der Noll (Leon van der Noll - Corkwildlife). The first modern record of Water Ladybird (Anisosticta novemdecimpunctata) in Ireland and a remarkable find. It will be interesting to see if this species turns up anywhere else in the near future. #LadybirdAtlas2025

A quick bash of some Scots Pines in Craigavon, Co. Armagh during lunch produced 9 18-spot Ladybirds, 3 10-spot Ladybirds and 3 Scymnus suturalis. It was nice to find a pupa of the 18-spot as well, which was something I'd never found before. #LadybirdAtlas2025
