Reporting in from Day 1 of #LFC47 in Huron, Ohio! Looking forward to a great day of talks and networking!

Starting out our final morning of #LFC47 strong with a talk from Ed Rutherford titled Some Perspectives on the Value of Long-Term Ichthyoplankton Research Studies!

We’re back on Day 3 of #LFC47 . Today we’re starting with a keynote presentation from Susana Garrido titled Small pelagic fish: from the lab to fisheries management.

Time to start our first #LFC47 science session with our first topic: Temporal variability in habitat use and spatial distribution of early life history with a talk by Jill Leonard!

After a quick lunch break - we’re back at it with #LFC47 with our second theme: Causes and consequences of variability in larval fish foraging and growth.

Time for our last few #LFC47 talks in our final science session with the topic “How it started and how it’s going: the value of long-term ichthyoplankton time-series” with talks by Katey Marancik, Hannah Murphy, and Corbin Hilling.

And now for our topic of #LFC47 for the day - Recruitment across a freshwater-to-marine continuum: seeking generality starting off with Purdue Fish Eco Lab!

Now with the #LFC47 business meeting over - back to some science talks on Advances in systematics, early life history and population demographics: tools of the trade with talks from John Majoris, Tony Miskiewicz, Maddie Tomczak, Baumann Lab, and John Hume.
