Our multidisciplinary work includes the description of three species (Daniela Zeppilli 🐉) and provides an overview of the community, comparing the diversity between areas using #morphology and #metabarcoding

The Mediterranean is one of the best known areas for the kinorhynch fauna; however, in a survey in Rovinj, Croatia, we found a new species of the genus Meristoderes. 🦐🐉

For Kinorhyncha, a mix of mud dragons, common in muds of all kinds from estuaries to deep sea. Pretty small though, need a 53-63 micron mesh to catch them.
