It has been 10 years since Junaid Hafeez was arrested over blasphemy charges u/s 295(c). Three years since he was sentenced to death. His appeal is yet to be heard by the high court. It's sad to see a brilliant scholar languishing in prison over a victimless crime.

People using the #JunaidHafeez case to campaign against Pakistan’s blasphemy laws is strange, since there are hundreds of Muslims accused of blasphemy who r better examples of miscarriages of justice.
The campaign should be to stop abuse of blasphemy laws, and bad prosecutions.
When I was brought into prison, a jail official told me not to worry because I’d get bailed out in 15 days. I shuddered at the prospect of having to spend two weeks behind bars and wondered how I’d survive.
That was 10 years ago.
