And then realize that this was the norm back then.

When this pic was taken Feb 1979 corn was $2.45 and interest was 11%. Today that corn would be worth $10.91 per bushel and yet no protests today. The average yield was 109.5bu acre. That’s the equivalent of $1194 per acre gross income. #inflationistheft
What's next, tent cities, cardboard boxes? Even a van by the river is no longer affordable.
