Last week we #GuteKueste Leibniz Uni Hannover interviewed guests and citizens on the island of #Spiekeroog to collect socio-ecological data on #ecosystemservices for #coastalprotection. A successful field trip thanks to the good mood among interviewers and respondents.

The National Park House Wittbülten will show student works of landscape architecture from Leibniz Uni Hannover on #sealevelrise on #Spiekeroog for the next 3 month, which were created in context of #GuteKüste. The far-reaching + provocative visions can be seen by all interested visitors

WP4 is about the quantification and evaluation of #ecosystemservices in coastal areas. What is the effect of #saltmarshes as the transition from sea to land? Which effect has the vegetation on the stability of #dikes? Which ESS are provided by coastal ecosystems? #guteküste
