It’s not only hair it is part of you as a person & hard to deal with…
Jo Taylor Dr Greg Wilson Flen Health Paxman Jennifer Young Insurancewith Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance GMCUser Involvement METUPUK Macmillan Cancer Support Breast Cancer Now Madeleine Meynell #IAmThe31 I know that there are hundreds like me but I don’t know how to find them
Jo Taylor Dr Greg Wilson Flen Health Paxman Jennifer Young Insurancewith Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance GMCUser Involvement METUPUK Macmillan Cancer Support Breast Cancer Now Madeleine Meynell #IAmThe31 There isn’t any support I’ve looked and looked.
Madeleine Meynell #IAmThe31 Jo Taylor Dr Greg Wilson Flen Health Paxman Jennifer Young Insurancewith Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance GMCUser Involvement METUPUK Macmillan Cancer Support Breast Cancer Now This research was done by my hospital and put into their online library and ignored by oncology. PCIA is completely ignored. Research is to educate inform and improve the outcomes for patients so why ignore it. Hair doesn’t matter but honest should.
Carol Davies Jo Taylor Dr Greg Wilson Flen Health Paxman Jennifer Young Insurancewith Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance GMCUser Involvement METUPUK Macmillan Cancer Support Breast Cancer Now I had paclitaxel (Taxol) for primary and my hair grew back very thick. When I needed chemo again for stage 4 two years later I had docetaxel (Taxotere), and five years on its still very thin. I can’t get along with wigs and I also don’t bother colouring my hair.
Jo Taylor Dr Greg Wilson Flen Health Paxman Jennifer Young Insurancewith Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance GMCUser Involvement METUPUK Macmillan Cancer Support Breast Cancer Now Madeleine Meynell #IAmThe31 It’s Taxane hair loss,,Docetaxel That caused my PCIA
Madeleine Meynell #IAmThe31 Jo Taylor Dr Greg Wilson Flen Health Paxman Jennifer Young Insurancewith Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance GMCUser Involvement METUPUK Macmillan Cancer Support Breast Cancer Now Thank you so much for the reply, I know we exist but no one is talking about it. I think that women think that they are one of the unlucky 3%. That’s the worst it’s a lie within a lie. It’s only hair until it’s you hair and then it’s different x
Exciting time ahead!

The team in Scotland is now complete and we are excited to be supporting the Leg Ulcer Forum in Livingston today. #flenhealth #flaminal #woundcare
Madeleine Meynell #IAmThe31 Jo Taylor Dr Greg Wilson Flen Health Paxman Jennifer Young Insurancewith Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance GMCUser Involvement METUPUK Macmillan Cancer Support Breast Cancer Now I’m so sorry I know that I sound crazy but the evidence is clear so why ignore it Taxane chemotherapy has far more than the 3% chance of PCIA than we’re being told. If I had been told 37.8% chance it would have been a very different conversation 😞

Jo Taylor Dr Greg Wilson Flen Health Paxman Jennifer Young Insurancewith Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance GMCUser Involvement METUPUK Macmillan Cancer Support Breast Cancer Now Madeleine Meynell #IAmThe31 I am in contact with Shirley Ledlie and read her book A Hairs Whisper. There seems only the two of us but I know from research done by the Clatterbridge/ Christie in 2020 that there are hundreds of us.
