It is #FaceEquality Week and here’s my #FaceEquality selfie. Despite having one of the most common facial differences, I experience abuse and prejudice on an almost daily basis. We need more diverse faces on our screens and in public office. We have lots to give.

I have a difficult relationship with my face. I get judged by my facial difference, I get stared at and ignored because of it.
But I also am proud of it. How many people can boast about taking a bunch of radiation to the face? It's kind of badass.
