The LAC will reopen once it's deemed safe (estimated to be around May 10).

On April 19, Baltimore port officials announced the opening of a third temporary channel. The channel is open only to commercially essential vessels and so far the collapsed portion of the FSK bridge is being fished out. #baosen #port #logistics

The first commercial vessel transited through the Limited Access Channel at the #FSKBridge site Thursday, part of scheduled passages for a limited number of commercial vessels into the Port of Baltimore and a departure opportunity for deep draft vessels unable to leave the harbor.

The latest update to our Navigation Capabilities infographic shows the three Temporary Alternate Channels surveyed & opened by the U.S. Coast Guard since the #FSKBridge collapse, plus details about ongoing efforts to open a 35' deep limited access channel within the federal channel span.
