27 years ago today England beat Spain on pens in the Euro96 quarter final, whilst I was having my own ‘Match of the Day’!! About 7/8 men had earpieces in during the ceremony listening to the game!!

He was #Scotland 's longest serving manager taking charge between 1993 and 2001 and he led the #tartanarmy to two major tournaments, EURO96 and the World Cup in 1998.

Legend is spouted out sometimes too often, but Craig Brown was indeed that. He was assistant to Andy Roxburgh when I started going to Hampden. He always spoke so well of the national team and was it’s biggest supporter.
