What do you do when it rains all day?
You still go out and use the bus as a hide.
Great views of a White-tailed Eagle sat on a wall, a fab Cuckoo out in the open on a wire & the best views of a Hen harrier I’ve ever had.
You only see stuff when you’re out!

Spent a chilly day rspb Parkgate today with Derbyshire Bird Tours. We saw several marsh harrier, stonechat, lots of ducks, waders, little and great egrets and lots more. We then called into Burton Mere Wetlands and saw a lovely flock of siskin #derbyshirebirdtours

Gorgeous day for a trip to Derbyshire Wildlife Trust Spring Wood with Derbyshire Bird Tours. Saw a lovely flock of siskin and we had a superb sighting of a kingfisher plus lots more. Beautiful blue sky day, spring was in the air #derbyshirebirdtours

What a fabulous group we’ve had on Mull this week.
Now a glass of wine & a toast to the amazing wildlife that calls this wonderful island home.
It’s our last night, so it ends in style with a sunset on the shore of Loch Spelve with a serenading Cuckoo.

Well, where do I start today.
Wonderful trip out with Martin Keivers , as always, brilliant. Golden Eagle, WTE and Goshawk at Loch Na Keal. Otter with 50 feet feeding at Loch Scridain & Hen Harrier to finish. Oh yeh, and Puffins.
