P5 have been working hard to keep their brown trout safe and well during their project. Today was a proud day, as they got to release their fish back into the rivers to grow, reproduce and continue the cycle all over again. 🐟 We are so proud of you all ⭐️

A fantastic start to for p6b!🐟
We’ve been taking our responsibilities very seriously; creating a hatchery maintenance timetable, extending our data handling skills and making sure we’re ready for our trout eggs arriving on Tuesday.
See you Monday Harry P!⚡️

Marissa, the lovely scientist from Clyde River Foundation, came to visit P5/6 today. She gave the children the chance to look at our alevins through a magnifying glass to see their hearts and mouths moving - fascinating! The children loved it 😁 ClydeRiverFoundation 🐟

Aaaand they’re off! Yesterday we said goodbye to our lovely brown trout. We loved this project and have learned so much about the species and how to responsibly care for a live creature. We already have many requests to do it again soon! Thornlie 🐟💛🖤
