Yesterday for #CAOceanDay, I was proud to join CALPIRGStudent, Senator Catherine Blakespear, and Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan at Capitol Park to speak on our latest measure seeking to curb plastic pollution in our oceans. If passed, #SB1053 will eliminate the use of non-recyclable plastic film grocery bags.
