We had a wonderful day taking part in #BigSpringBeachClean - collected signatures for the petition, found a crisp packet exp in 2006, an iron, tent, knickers (?!), coffee cups, cans, bottles, sleeping bag, cigarette butts and filter packets, coat, plastic straws and cutlery...

Found on #Southsea beach yesterday at the #bigspringbeachclean and is older than many of those helping on the day! Over 24 years old and still readable, breaking down and causing harm. Take your litter home with you folks, it doesn't magically disappear

So today in numbers, 12 people (including 1 child) and a dog helped keep lancing lovely on the #BigSpringBeachClean collect 65.5Kg of litter and waste (of which 3.5Kg was plastics) #PlasticFreeCoastlines
