Good morning, good morning!

I’m tired today, feels like it should be a Wednesday but it’s only Tuesday! Yesterday was a good day so I’ll do my best to keep to productivity going!

A sleeping soldier, meant to be guarding Christ’s tomb on the morning of Resurrection. On stained glass in Noughaval Church. The building was originally in Ballyvaughan but was moved here brick by brick in 1943. Along the way, it magically changed from Protestant to Catholic…😀

アイルランドの風景⑥
Ballyvaughan Pier

西の海が見える桟橋。
遠くに丘が見える情景がまさにアイルランドという感じです。
海は日本と違って潮の香りがあまりしません。

the brilliant historian (and artist) TJ Westropp. Depicting the coast road between Ballyvaughan and Doolin, its beautiful scenery remains much the same to this day (Image: Royal Irish Academy)

One of the best things about Clare is the many Stone faces to be found among ruins. Here’s my top 5, starting with this eerie eyed bishop. Nice hat, crozier in one hand and a sign of benediction in the other. You can find him in Corcomroe Abbey, near Ballyvaughan

A gentle lesson in the art of indoor gardening, using plants that will not only tolerate the interior space but absolutely enhance it. See Alt text. These are the Tea & Garden Rooms, Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare, , with an intuitive gardener at work behind the scenes!
