I have some turnip labels from Quesnel. My father-in-law (now 97 years old!) says although he was a turnip farmer in the 1950s, never put these on any bags. He sold the turnips to the co-op then in turn the co-op sent them to the Okanagan. ben bradley #BcHistory #bchist
One of my predecessors, the late Emery Barnes, was the first Black person to serve as Speaker of any Canadian legislature. He served as #BCLeg Speaker from 1994 to 1996. I am grateful for his contributions to our province and legislature.
