On November 3, 2023 a candlelight vigil, featuring musicians was held at Trafalgar Square in London, U.K., honoring #ArmitaGeravand , a teenage Iranian girl who died following an alleged encounter with officers over violating the country's hijab laws.

Armita was a 16 year-old Iranian girl who loved to paint and loved freedom.

On the day the Armita was going out with her hair uncovered her Dad said “Armita cover it, I am worried about you.”
