Excited to attend the 2024 Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development. At current pace, Asia-Pacific will not achieve #SDGs until 2062, 32 years behind schedule. UN Resident Coordinators & Country Teams are supporting member states in their SDG acceleration journey. #APFSD

Voluntary National Reviews are an essential tool to review country progress toward achieving the #2030Agenda & #SDGs . I was honored to speak to the #APFSD plenary & panel sharing lessons learned from the 2023 #Fiji #VNR and importance of robust #data & #statistics .

Planning Minister Pakistan Prof Ahsan Iqbal met with Sri Lanka's State Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies, Mr. Shehan Asanka Semasinghe at the 10th #APFSD .

Both sides exchanged views on economic stability and mutual collaborations.
