It's my birthday and I'm currently spending it at the Agronomy, Crop, and Soil Science Societies International Annual meeting #ACSMtg .

I'll be presenting my poster by 4pm tomorrow, Tuesday! Come visit at Poster #1194 to learn about cowpeas!

My first SSSA meeting was great! I was able to talk at a conference for the first time in a rapid session, won second place for the urban soil poster session, and hear about all the amazing progress occurring in soil science.
I look forward to being back!

UF IFAS Forage Team in the podium! First place of Robert F Barnes PhD student oral presentations went to Nicolas Caram and third place to Kenneth Oduor, both from UF. On the best Crop Science papers in the C-06 Division we ranked 2nd and 3rd places! #ACSMtg

Had a very fruitful #ACSMtg in Saint Louis! Happy to share that I got 1st place in the oral competition “Climate change and agriculture session”. Special thanks to my advisor Dr. Nithya Rajan Nithya Rajan & committee members for their constant support and wonderful mentorship.

The annual meeting for soil scientists and agronomists #ACSmtg enables excellent scientific exchange. But as important it allows us to reconnect with friends and colleagues that will always be an important part of our lives regardless of distance and time.

An exciting journey of conducting soil organic matter(SOM) fractionation through size and density for 216 samples to presenting the results at #ACSMtg with 6 weeks baby during pregnancy/motherhood journey.
