Maria shared some of her work in the blueberry fields in Kern County CA. This fruit makes a great addition to a morning shake, pancakes or in a muffin. Maria is paid by how many pounds of the fruit she can pick in her shift. Thank you Maria for sharing. #WeFeedYou

Maria is a farm worker in Salinas CA. She is removing extra leaves from the vines to allow enough air & sun to reach the ripening grapes. She does this work by hand, protected only by cotton gloves so as not to harm the delicate fruit. Thank you Maria for sharing. #WeFeedYou
