School has not been the easiest for my my oldest. He struggles, like I did. We learn with our hands, and we learn by engaging in conversations. A teacher finally figured him out. Today, that teacher awarded him with the student of the year in food and nutrition. #proud #flyhigh

Boston (12) achieved his first degree Black Belt today. This kid fought hard through a 4 hour physical, emotional, and skilled test. Close to tears, but he persevered. I am extremely proud to watch him accomplish his dream. Congratulations, son, you earned it. Love you
