Today is the 8th anniversary of the Syrian revolution. We're commemorating by remembering our friend Raed Fares, a hero who was killed last year. To Raed, building civil society was the highest form of resistance to Assad. #Syria

Turkish nationalists are getting loud here. How do you deny Turkey’s clear ambitions? Redrawing maritime borders, military bases in Syria?! While Israel doesn’t wait for excuses to do crimes, Turkey is giving it one. Both are external powers seeking war on Syria’s crumbling land

Refugees around the world need private donations more than ever, with multiple governments initiating unprecedent cuts to foreign aid. Just a few dollars can make a huge difference for families living in refugee camps. gofundme.com/f/refugee-reli…

We were forced out of our family home on Feb 2012. 13 years later, we came back and I used the same key that I kept all these years after we kicked Assad out. Full circle moment.

I love seeing the reactions of Zionists when they discover how hated they are. Literally no one like you except for the elites in charge.

7yrs ago today, #Assad regime helicopters dropped chlorine gas into #Douma, killing 41+ people & injuring 100+ (left). 7yrs later, #Syria's new gov't dropped flowers from a helicopter over #Douma, as locals commemorated the attack (right).

This specifically is why I'm terrified for my friends still living in Syria. Israel and other countries attacking is a danger but unexploded ordinance is *everywhere* after more than a decade of war.

When someone tells you who they are, believe them. This is what anti-Palestinian racism looks like. That's a Palestinian flag, not a Hamas flag. These people simply don't want Palestinians to exist.

For how long is the "under Assad you would've been arrested for this" Card going to be used? At some point it's gonna run out of credit, right??

if you thought "torture prisons outside of the country" was suspicious get ready for "seizing and nationalising the assets of the unwanted"

"will be replaced by troops led by Abu Amsha." Dear God, no wonder they're terrified. Going from a disciplined, principled commander to one of the most war criminals on the former rebel side.

I had always hoped Syria would have its Nuremberg trails moment but it looks like that's never happening because the government just pardoned them all and left it up to random vigilantes to do the job. Extremely disappointing and really a stain on the new regime.

Iran should just announce that the real revolution was against Woke and they won so now they can drop all the anti American shit
