Our Office of Parental Rights learned that an Alachua County public school camp has been housing boys in the same cabins as second grade girls. This is unsafe and unlawful in Florida, and it will not be tolerated.

Florida law is clear on this issue. Boys should not be allowed to invade the private spaces of female students. As the father of four little girls, I fully support Attorney General James Uthmeier’s efforts and I echo his call for Alachua County Schools to take immediate action.
