Just happened across a programme about #LillyHitchcockCoit a Lady Philanthropist #Coitstower on Telegraph hill who bucked the trend in the day, left 1/3 of her wealth to the City but was a big supporter of the Fire Dept in San Fran. I 1st heard of her from these guys at Engine 28
