We are thrilled to give a tour of Local Studies focusing on the women of Swindon, as part of the Shouting Softly Swindon programme for International Women’s Day! This is a free, drop-in event. Local Studies is based on the 2nd floor of Central Library.

Join us today at 12pm for the launch of The Palace of My Imagination by John Cullimore, a new novel inspired by the life of Alfred Williams. The launch will be held on the ground floor of Central Library.

What is available in your Local Studies collection? There’s almost too much to list, so why not come and explore! We are open 10am-4pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10am-1pm Saturdays.
