Reaction to West Lothian Pool Closures Scottish Swimming is deeply shocked and disappointed by West Lothian Council’s decision yesterday to proceed with the closure of three West Lothian swimming pools on 31stAugust this year, despite protests from the local communities.

It is #DrowningPreventionWeek and the importance of learning to swim and learning about water safety remains key for building confidence and staying safe in and around water. Swimming pools play a huge part in this. #SaveOurPools
