I feel so blessed I was able to be there for Evie’s birth. Janelle Brown and I tag teamed Maddie and Axel.

The midwives we’re monitoring Maddie the whole time and they felt staying in the bathtub was a good and safe thing to do while Maddie waited for Caleb. #SisterWives

When Caleb walked in we all cried a little. So grateful he made it safe. I’m sure Maddie was the most grateful! #SisterWive

I had five of my kids at home and I LOVE home births. Kody and the midwives were wonderful!!

Once Caleb got there Evie was born 30 minutes later. Three hours of labor vs. Axel’s labor of 80 plus hours. #SisterWives

I took Axel to go for a walk while Evie was being helped along by the nurses. She was monitored constantly. SisterWives

Caleb and Maddie were on the bed just watching the nurses take care of Evie. They couldn’t bond with her right away because Evie needed so much help. It was so hard to watch. #SisterWives

We were so lucky to have those nurses!! #SisterWives

Maddie was a rockstar in the hospital. Every two hours she got out of bed, walked to the NICU to feed Evie. Then she walked back to her bed to rest. She’s such a trooper. When the going gets tough... #SisterWives

It was a careful balance of being supportive for Maddie and Caleb while keeping Axel occupied and happy while wondering if Evie was okay.

Evangalynn was so alert!! Right from the very beginning! #SisterWives

She’s a fierce fighter!

I know this doesn’t matter but seeing me in Kody’s shirt reminded me I had no clothes to wear because we really weren’t expecting Evangalynn to come yet. #SisterWives
