The "Global Mental Health Assessment and Measurement" course, organized by TPO Nepal and partners, runs from July 15-19, 2024. It focuses on best practices and innovations in mental health, with 18 participants, including 16 Nepalese and 2 international attendees.

A pleasure to host Dr. Ellie Cox and Dr. Haseeb Mohammad Irfanullah from Research Consulting, UK at BNMT! It was a great interaction and discussions on the Epidemic Intelligence project funded by Wellcome / Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office  with BNMT staff and Senior Management Team.

It was incredible listening to Dr Ajay Asranna, Dr Naoto Kuroda and Dr Ching Soong Khoo in the ILAE-Young Epilepsy Society (YES) ASEPA career development session where they shared multiple perspectives on various aspects of Epilepsy research.

It is unfortunate that stgma and epilepsy have a strong inextricable bond. It was interesting to attend an insightful session by Kheng Seang Lim, Dr Man Mohan Mehndiratta and Dr Chong Tin Tan on stigma on epilepsy and ways forward.

I am grateful to International League Against Epilepsy for this opportunity to present my Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene funded research on psychosocial impacts of Epilepsy at the #AOEC2025.
