Ofcom Can you please explain how my once local commercial radio station (Swansea Sound) is now becoming a national radio station under Bauer, with absolutely no local programmes other than a half bit attempt to provide an excuse for a Welsh language show at 10pm?

It’s the end of an era Greatest Hits Radio South Wales News After 49 years, the last local programming in English will air this weekend before the ex-Swansea Sound station adopts a near-full networked schedule, including the new Ken Bruce show, from Monday.

GHR will retain its Welsh-language late show with Gareth Hurford alongside local news and traffic bulletins. According to the schedules, Swansea Sound veteran Steve Dewitt will present the station’s final English-language local show on Sunday from 6-10am. planetradio.co.uk/greatest-hits/…
