I'm now given to understand that the police on Monday wouldn't even tell the families if their kids were alive or dead in the street, and that news of the CCTV definitely reached them earlier.

I'd have had less restraint than the families and those on Snowden Road did.

Second Video Emerges Showing Police Van Chase In Ely

On Monday, PCC Alun Michael denied there was chase involving 2 boys tragically killed.

But CCTV footage emerged contradicting him.

Now a 2nd video has emerged showing a chase around 3mins before the 1st video.

John Urquhart 🎄 #AintAsking 𓅿 This is not the first teenager that the police have fatally chased in Ely. They chased a teenage girl into a tree on Grand Avenue and she died.

They’ve got form for bad policing in Ely. And this is the worst.

Fun fact: I had a detective on my door a little while ago asking if I'd seen the video online. So before the BBC dropped it I and many of us here were increasingly confident of what was about to become public knowledge.

Because the police were checking they'd covered it up.

Still all going on here. Two kids killed by a car nearby. Parents weren't given the access to the situation they felt they should have, from what I can gather. Lack of trust in policing & over emphasis on force by the police has made this more intense than it needed to be.

What South Wales Police caused in #Ely #CARDIFF last night is a blatant and obvious sign that the force needs to be investigated starting at the very top.

My question to the force is simple, Why lie about chasing the bike when cctv clearly shows otherwise?

Our thoughts are with the family & friends of Kyrees Sullivan & Harvey Evans - they deserve justice!
