Sometimes, you have to go through the pain to get to the purpose, through the weeping to get to the joy, through the struggle to get to the abundance. Keep being faithful and you’re going to see what God has been working on.

It’s okay to have times where you feel discouraged and you don’t see how it can work out. It’s okay to start there, but don’t finish there. Don’t stay in the ashes; don’t stay defeated. God didn’t bring you this far to leave you.

Do you realize what you have? You’re not just ordinary, doing life on your own, limited by your environment, your education, your connections, your size. No, the gracious hand of God is on you: a favor that empowers, enables, opens doors, and keeps enemies from defeating you.

God gave you breath to breathe. He woke you up this morning. He told your heart to beat. He’s the One who sustained you. He’s protected you from things you know nothing about. It's important to have the right perspective.

That setback, the trouble, the sickness, is not going to stop your purpose; it’s going to move you into your purpose. It’s a setup for God to show out in your life. The enemy wouldn’t be fighting you if you didn’t have something valuable. You carry the favor of God.

What you thought was going to limit the rest of your life—the bad break, the disappointment, the mistake you made—that is not how your story ends. Beauty is coming, restoration is coming, healing is coming, favor is coming.
