Not even two months into 2024, & Wirral Council has now finalised its decision to partially destroy Hoylake’s foreshore and destablilise the redevelopment of dunes which lie within a SSSI, SAC, SPA and Ramsar (hatched dark green).

We've just installed a Wilder Sensing acoustic monitor at our site in Somerset. Can't wait to hear what birds are using it - we're expecting this to change as the wetland develops. It records 24/7 and creates hundreds of thousands of species level records - what an amazing tool!

You don't need to plant trees on floodplains as the river will deliver the seeds for trees as long as river & floodplain are connected. Let's stop planting trees please when nature does it 100x better for biodiversity

This is important. Very important. Mary Colwell is a bright star. Pure and dedicated to nature. Word on street is slippery politicians don't want to tell kids the truth. They are frightened of response. The world the kids will inherit is being flayed bare by those with this view.
