Early 2010s, I was in Reserve Bank of NZ forecast team. New Zealand was hit by major disasters. I turned to the literature for inflation impacts and found nothing, so I started my own research. Ref 2 "couldn't see the relevance of the topic." This milestone feels like vindication.

A main issue in #climate #finance is often 'money is not there'. The Financial Times shows that money may be there but is allocated to other priorities, which are often in contradiction with climate action, providing contrasting signals and incentives to markets.
