Wages are rising across industries & childcare programs just can’t compete. Parents can’t afford to pay, and teachers can’t afford to stay.

The child care workforce is critical to child & family well-being and our economy. Yet many child care businesses can’t compete with rising wages or afford to offer health insurance, so teachers can’t stay. Expanding Medicaid helps child care at no cost to state taxpayers.
