Today, Surfside celebrated the students who finished their graduation requirements this quarter. Families, staff,f and students cheered and threw confetti as the grads walked the hall and "Rang that bell!"

Navy recruiters came to Surfside to talk to students at lunch about possible career opportunities. Go Navy and thank you for the visit!

Today's water balloon toss competition brought smiles, camaraderie, and friendly competition. The two winning pairs are all smiles, ear to ear.

We hosted 81 visitors from the Model Schools conference today. The students were incredible, the teachers were awesome, and our visitors were a great group of folks. Our 10 student leaders led groups of visitors on a campus tour, and they did a super job - proud principal!

OUSD CTE took Surfside students to tour Southern California College of Barber and Beauty in Escondido. This was a great trip!
