Painful end to a great Liverpool career. I couldn't boo a LFC player. I never have, and I won't. But the Kop had its say, loudly, as it is entitled to do. In the end, a lack of honesty and transparency, especially from a local lad, proved too much for many Kopites to bear.

An historic stadium, a place where we have fought against one another and stood with each other. Highs, lows and so many memories. The end of an era at Goodison Park and the beginning of a new one.

Liverpool infamously didn’t get a bus parade after winning the Premier League in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The city was more than ready to celebrate this year ❤️

The amount of people offering lifts and going out of their way to make sure their fellow fans and people they don’t even know can get home safe is what Liverpool is about, not what happened on Water Street ❤️💙

Bee Boileau Max Warner Ben Zaranko Although capital spending is set to be maintained at a high level, the Spring Statement in March (implicitly) promised all of the planned real-terms increase over the next four years to defence. Increasing capital funding elsewhere therefore will mean a cut somewhere else.

To those hoping to make sense of this Spending Review: be careful with time periods. Most of the % numbers the Chancellor is using are for 2023/24 to 2028/29 (the full parliament), including the cash injections provided last year & this year, rather than starting in 2025/26.
