The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on Friday assigned artificial intelligence projects, or workloads, to three companies selected to supply GPUs under the IndiaAI Mission.

Hiranandani Group’s Yotta Data Services, E2E Networks, and NxtGen Cloud Technologies will supply AI compute infrastructure to startups, academic institutions, and other entities shortlisted by the IT ministry, enabling access to GPU resources at subsidised rates.

Launched in January, the Rs 10,000 crore IndiaAI Mission aims to deploy around 15,000 GPUs and support the development of local language models by academia and industry through funding and incentives, as part of a broader push to strengthen India’s AI capabilities.
