Psalm 81 calls Israel to repentance but only if you continue past the revised common lectionary reading which ends at verse 10. So why would church men organizing the lectionary cut off a psalm calling a community to repentance unless repentance is exactly what they can't do??

A word of warning... Stay far away from this book. For your own sanity. I used to actually respect this man. I even quote him sometimes. After this book I'll be ridding myself of all his books. I hope Oprah Winfrey reads this book and cancels his show. Unless these are her values too.

This is also true of ELCA Lutherans bishops especially Bishop Eaton. The reason ELCA Advocacy doesn't do anything to stand up for trans people is because of the bishop's bound conscience. Yep. Shed wish us dead before losing her precious Centrist position.

She's right. Like trans people just want to live as themselves and be treated with dignity and respect. Not turn the world trans. What a boring world that'd be! Reject the cult followers who come in shirt and tie to your door and embrace your neighbor with all their diversity!

You can remain silent about anti-trans laws, ELCA Advocacy and refuse to acknowledge trans people even exist Bishop Eaton and bow down to bound conscience ELCA Lutherans but trust me. We won't forget. And we won't let this generation forget either.
