Thank you to everyone who attended our Moss Landing town hall meeting last week. We heard from residents about the Moss Landing Battery Fire, emergency preparation and alerts, road conditions, and more.

The 1st Annual Salinas Day event was held on Saturday. The event celebrated Salinas history and featured free admission to the First Mayor’s House, the Railroad Museum, the California Welcome Center, and more.

From Caltrans: A full overnight closure of the intersection of Merritt Street and Preston Street will take place from Monday, June 23 at 8 pm to Tuesday, June 24 at 6 am. Travelers will be detoured onto local streets.

Congratulations to the 18 graduates of the Proudly Pajaro Leadership Training, which helped participants gain leadership skills to support and advocate for their community. We recently celebrated their graduation at Casa de la Cultura in Pajaro.
